Alan Stein
Alan Stein has expertise in military, business operations. He is a consultant to small businesses seeking to establish presence in the federal space. He recently retired as the Division Vice President of Logistics and Management Services at CALIBRE Systems, Inc., where he managed and directed a profit and loss center in excess of $45 million in revenue, and led several teams of logisticians and resource managers.
A retired Army Colonel, Mr. Stein has had extensive worldwide assignments at the command and staff level. He led a task force of over 1000 soldiers as Commander, Combat Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in the Kuwait Theater of Operations, and he was the Assistant Chief of Staff, US Army Materiel Command, a four star level command.
He has a MS degree in from Florida Institute of Technology, a BA from the University of Arizona and is a graduate of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy. Mr. Stein currently sits on the Governing Board of the University of Arizona Alumni Association.
Mr. Stein is emphatic that his success would not have been possible without the great mentors who made his professional development a priority. In turn, he has mentored individuals in corporate, higher education, and military settings. His experience in mentorship, and his ability to effectively transfer his knowledge, will be great resource to any Wildcat. He is excited to be a part of the Wildcat Mentor Society.
