Alie Vidal has over 10 years of experience as a global event professional. She has worked for ALM, a publishing and media company, as director of operations and global event director. In her experience, she has managed 10,000-person industry conferences, award galas, sales incentive trips, conferences and small meetings. In her current role, she works as a 3rd-party event planner. Her client is a Fortune 500 company for which she manages all of their executive care and private meetings.
Although Alie has never had a mentor, she believes one would have been valuable to advancing her career. The event and hospitality industry can be challenging to break into. She is excited to connect fellow Wildcats and has previous experience mentoring young women at ALM. Her industry connections and ability to coach individuals in personal and professional development will make her a great mentor.
