Brian Hibbs
Associate Professor of Education
Brian is an Associate Professor of Education at Dalton State College. He teaches ESOL courses (i.e. applied linguistics, methods of TESOL, culture and education) designed to prepare elementary education teacher candidates to work with English language learners. He is the Coordinator for the Committee on High-Impact Practices at Dalton State, and member of the editorial board for the International Journal of Teacher Education and Professional Development. Brian's research interests include second language acquisition, teacher development, program administration and evaluation, intercultural competence, and study abroad.
