Christopher Cady
Christopher Cady is a University of Arizona alum with over 10 years of experience in the federal government. Christopher has served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Peru, an intern and Pathways fellow at the Department of State, as well as a civil servant at the Federal Emergency Management Agency and at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
At U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Christopher serves as Enforcement and Removal Operations’ (ERO) Legal Access Coordinator where he directs nationwide legal access programs and initiatives for the 25 ICE field offices. Christopher is also as a Level III Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) who oversees ICE’s nationwide language services contract which services 20,000 ICE personnel and contractors as well as the Interagency Agreement with the Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review to provide Legal Orientation Program services for over 10,000 family units in Alternative to Detention Dedicated Dockets. Christopher has been awarded for his outstanding contributions and exemplary service to the Family Case Management Program and was nominated in 2018 for ICE Director’s Award for creating the ERO COR Academy which developed training and provided professional development opportunities for over 40 detention facility CORs. The training developed by Christopher was adopted by ICE for an Agency-wide rollout and is now required training for all ICE CORs.
Christopher has a BA in Political Science from University of Arizona and a Master’s of Public Administration from American University.
Christopher is excited to be a part of the Wildcat Mentor Society and is looking forward to sharing his experiences and helping Wildcats with an interest in government service develop tangible professional and life skills that will be of service in their future careers.
