Eric Rutin

Director of Marketing - Kids Dental Brands

Eric graduated from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Radio and Television (one of the last to graduate with that degree) and moved to the Left Coast. He started his marketing career at two of the world’s largest and most prestigious advertising agencies, Foote, Cone & Belding, then Chiat/Day. Here Eric developed the foundation of his marketing skills but was also fortunate to have found his first mentor. This first foray into being a mentee helped him navigate the transition from college student to being a responsible professional and learn that perception is reality.

After several years in LA, Eric had enough of the beach living and moved to Phoenix, where he worked at several of the Valley’s premier advertising agencies. At RMG, his second mentor brought Eric under the wing of his second mentor, teaching him how to be an effective leader. Here, Eric led the efforts to land Chipotle, besting larger agencies from San Francisco and New York. One of his big claims to fame was developing Chiptole’s first social media campaign by choosing the little upstart Facebook over the behemoth, MySpace. Eric has spent the last decade helping medium businesses grow market share and brand awareness. He currently leads a marketing team of 20 at Kids Dental Brands with 46 offices across five states. Eric is a double Wildcat with both undergrad (BFA) and graduate (MBA) degrees from the University of Arizona.
