Juliann Arnold

Pediatric RN, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America

Juliann Arnold graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2005 from the University of Arizona. She also holds a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) certification. Juliann is a Registered Nurse (RN) with 15 years of pediatric experience in a variety of settings. She started out as a new graduate nurse at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in the Emergency Department and then transitioned to the Operating Room and eventually the Endoscopy Department. Juliann has also worked at Maricopa Integrated Health System (now Valleywise Health) as a triage nurse in the outpatient pediatric primary care clinic as well as Cleveland Clinic in the outpatient pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) clinic. In her most recent patient care centered role, Juliann worked in the pediatric Emergency Department at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. She is currently working her dream job at the national office of Make-A-Wish Foundation of America on the Medical Affairs team within the Mission Advancement Department. Juliann finds this work rewarding because it gives her the ability to use her nursing skills to help children afflicted with life threatening critical illnesses have their one true wish granted. Not only is Juliann employed by Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, she is also an active volunteer wish granter with the Make-A-Wish Arizona chapter. During the summer months, Juliann volunteers with Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks which is a program for children with cancer. She is excited to be part of the Wildcat Mentor Society and give insight to future Wildcats who are interested in not only the healthcare field but the non-profit sector as well.
