Kirk Sibley

Datacenter Operations Manager, Apple Inc.

Kirk has worked in the field of Information Technology and Systems/Platforms Engineering for over 20 years. Kirk started his career at Intel Corporation in Chandler Arizona where he supported the automation systems that support Intel's state-of-the-art wafer fabrication sites globally. After a few years, he transitioned into leading the datacenter systems startup team for the new Fab32 in Chandler Arizona. In 2017 Kirk left Intel to take on a position to work for Apple to help start up operations at the company's newest datacenter being built in Mesa, AZ. In the summer of 2017 the facility, measuring in at 1.3 million square feet, was successfully brought online and now supports applications that enable Apple services to work. Kirk currently manages a team that supports Apple's global datacenter compute environment responsible for keeping Apple's services running and available 24/7 365 days a year. Having worked at 3 different Fortune 100 companies, Kirk has a broad understanding when it comes to understanding designing, implementing and supporting datacenter infrastructure systems that power cloud and network services on a global scale. Kirk believes in strong team development and growth for his own team and has a passion for helping others navigate their career journey. Kirk graduated in 1999 from the Eller College of Business with a degree in Management Information Systems
