Lisa Anderson
Lisa Anderson is a proven Executive leader in the Retail sector with over 30 years of experience. Most recently expanding her exposure to HealthCare in the vision field, starting as the DVP of Optometry for EyeCare Partners. She has become an expert in acquisition, operational process set up, building team leadership and learning everything there is to know about patient care across 400+ locations. Prior to that, she was Division VP at Michaels, she oversees 31 Field leaders, 400+ locations and over 10K TM's, across 28 states. Her success includes Year over Year sales increases, highly impactful service scores, and improved standards around an experiential focus to both the customer and the Team Member. Lisa has held several roles throughout her retail career including field leadership, transportation, inventory supply chain, omni-channel salesforce development, and delivering a new footprint growth strategy. She believes in Building Highly Effective Teams, Relentless focus on Process and Behavior change, and a constant drive to close gaps. She has been a mentor for over 6 years at Michaels, active participant in Women's Leadership groups, and sits on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.
Lisa is Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and spent her youth in Paradise Valley AZ. As she began to shaper her career path, her passion and desire was actually around theatre, and goal to be an actress. At the same time, she had started a job at a local Toys R Us, working the refund desk as a way to help with extra cash. As Lisa continued to excel, and started her schooling at U of A; she quickly realized the "acting" skills became her strength when dealing with people both customers and peers alike. Then she realized how much more potential and satisfaction there was in a Business Environment, networking with others, and ultimately guiding and training leaders. Although, she still has a passion for the arts, she uses her positive attitude, training nature, and comfortability around people to grow next level leaders who share the same passions and drive for success.
