Principal Technical Program Manager, Microsoft

Michael Scherotter is a Principal Program Manager in Commercial Software Engineering at Microsoft Corporation based out of San Francisco. He works with Microsoft partners in media and entertainment to help them build creation, production, distribution, and monetization solutions with Microsoft technologies. Educated as an architect, Michael brings a sense of creativity and design to synergistic software development and throughout his 27-year career in software development, he has specialized in combining and hacking software in innovative ways. Before working for Microsoft, he architected and developed desktop CAD applications for Boise Cascade and managed software development teams and engaged with partners as a Business Solutions Architect at Mindjet. Michael has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture specializing in Design Tool Development. Michael's creative outlet for the past 30 years has been art journaling (see https://adobe.ly/2GpnWYN) - mixing drawing, painting, photography, collage, 360 sketching, and even virtual flight sketching. Most recently, Michael took a sabbatical to build and launch Galeryst https://galeryst.com, a site that generates 3D virtual galleries from Adobe Photoshop Lightroom albums.
