Susan Leon
Susan Leon has instructed a wide variety of classes in her teaching career, including Technology and Career Exploration, Business, Intro to Culinary Arts, and Internship. For her last several years in the classroom, she instructed and managed a large Internship program across all CTE programs at her school. She also served as the CTE Site Coordinator and Internship Program Lead for her school district. Currently, Susan works for West-MEC, the Career and Technical Education District over the West Valley of the greater Phoenix metro area. As an Instructional Specialist, she is lucky to work with a passionate and innovative staff that champions CTE across the Phoenix area and the state. She has served as an ACTEAZ Fellow, an ACTE Region V Fellow, is active in the Work-Based Learning ACTE Section, and is the chair for the Academic Integration Section of the NRS Division.
